The ANAVIA HT-100 is a heavy-duty, long-range unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for autonomous flight operations. It is categorized as a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft with intermeshing rotors for lift generation. The design allows for modularity to cover a broad range of missions (e.g., intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, inspection, commercial logistics, search & rescue, and photometry).
The HT-100 unmanned helicopter was designed to take over missions traditionally flown by manned helicopters, carrying the same grade of ISR equipment/cargo/multi-mission payloads at a fraction of the investment and per-hour flight costs.
The HT-100 operates with a custom, Swiss built 15 kW turbine engine burning only 9 l/h of commonly available JET A-1 / JP-5 / JP-8 fuel. The aircraft offers a long endurance of up to 6 hours per mission and/or a maximum payload of 60 kilograms. A short refueling stop allows for the entire mission spectrum to be available again with no battery re-charge or switching limitations.
A cruise speed of 100 km/hr is easily attained in the harshest of weather conditions. A full endurance of 600 km still allows for 23 kg of sensor or cargo payload. This is the heaviest sensor payload spec available on the market. A custom-built avionics box allows for a highly modular connection interface, giving a ‘plug and play’ capability to virtually all sensors.
