- Management of the transition from product development to series production (‘Design to Manufacture’).
- Development and optimization of production layouts and assembly lines.
- Close collaboration with engineering to ensure production-ready product designs.

Supply Chain Development

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the systems engineering lifecycle for unmanned aircraft platforms, from concept through development, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Define, analyze, and allocate system requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, including avionics, propulsion, communications, payload, and ground control subsystems.
- Develop and maintain system architecture, interface control documents (ICDs), and design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Safety Engineering
- Develop and maintain system and aircraft-level safety assessments in accordance with ARP4761 and ARP4754A (e.g., FHA, PSSA, SSA, CMA).
- Perform Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA) and System Safety Assessments (SSA) to support certification and design reviews.
- Support fault tree analysis (FTA), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA/FMECA), and common cause analyses (CCA).
- Contribute to the development and review of Certification Plans, Safety Plans, and System Safety Program Plans (SSPP).
- Interface with airworthiness authorities (e.g., EASA, FAA, military) for certification-related safety work.
2. Reliability Engineering
- Perform quantitative reliability predictions using tools such as Reliasoft, Windchill, or MIL-HDBK-217.
Develop system and LRU reliability models and conduct Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective - Action Systems (FRACAS) processes.
- Monitor and report Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time Between Removals (MTBR), and other KPIs.

3. Maintainability & Supportability
- Conduct maintainability analysis, including Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), fault isolation, access analysis, and Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) architecture assessments.
- Support the development of Maintenance Task Analyses (MTA) and Maintenance Manuals (e.g., AMM, CMM).
- Contribute to the Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) deliverables.
- Work closely with production, customer support, and aftermarket teams to improve maintainability and reduce lifecycle costs.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in safety, reliability, or maintainability engineering within the aviation or aerospace sector.

- Ensure full traceability and documentation of all tasks performed, including inspection and testing of incoming goods and parts.
- Comply with safety standards, internal quality protocols, work instructions, and regulatory requirements (including handling of Dangerous Goods).
- Maintain all GSE in operational condition to support daily flight and test activities.
Other Tasks
Technical Problem Solving:
- Perform fault diagnosis using appropriate test equipment and support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for system failures or malfunctions.
- Contribute suggestions for product and process improvements based on operational experience.
Training & Collaboration:
- Act as a technician instructor for internal and/or external training sessions.
- Collaborate proactively with engineering, logistics, and operations teams to ensure seamless mission support.
Competencies & Duties
- Working independently and responsibly. Perform task tasks as described above. Proactive communication when issues arise, or help is needed.
- Compliance according to ANAVIA’ employment contract, compliance with company’ safety instructions and employee’ safety requirements, compliance with employers’ quality manual, work instructions and corresponding process specifications and instructions.
- Assure 5s behavior to drive clean, safe and efficient work processes.
- International travel required of up to 50% of employee’ working hours.
Qualifications
- Completed technical education (e.g., in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an aircraft technician (manned and/or unmanned).
- Proven understanding of aircraft assembly, system integration, and maintenance procedures.
- Strong diagnostic skills and hands-on experience with technical test equipment.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Working knowledge of operational risk management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and documentation tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
